Program Description
The Independent Living Services is a state and federally funded program that helps people with disabilities achieve greater independence in the home and community by assisting to obtain or maintain the following adaptive aides:
Mobility Devices
(wheelchairs, scooters, walkers, crutches)
Prostheses
(transtibial, transfemoral, transradial, and transhumoral)
Hearing Aides
(in the canal, in the ear, behind the ear, and open fit)
Vehicle Modifications
(hand controls, ramps, and scooter carrier)

Michelle Martinez, Coordinator
Education: Riverside High School Graduate
Experience: Started as a Volunteer at Volar CIL, then subsequently hired on as a receptionist and moved on as an assistant to Coordinator Miguel Palomar, where she has exceled and now has become a seasoned Coordinator in her own right.
Interests: Reading and watching Baseball
