Program Description​

The Independent Living Services is a state and federal funded program that helps people with disabilities achieve greater independence in the home and community by providing assistance to obtain or maintain the following adaptive aides:

Mobility Devices
(wheelchairs,scooters, walkers, crutches)

Interests: Vice-President of the El Paso Council of the Blind, President of the Paso Del Norte Light House Coalition

Disability: Visually Impaired

Assistant Coordinator

Education: Riverside High School Graduate

Experience: Started off as a Volunteer at Volar then hired as a Receptionist and now an Assistant to Coordinator Miguel Palomar

Interests: Reading and watching Baseball
